A new roof built properly, layer by layer, with a 10 year guarantee.
When the time comes for your old roof to be replaced, a brand-new modern roof is built to last far longer. Roofs of the past are often simply not up to the extreme weather we get today, and the Pennine rain that rolls into north Manchester, Oldham and Rochdale finds every weakness. A new roof saves you money in the long run and is the safest option for you and your family.
The old covering comes off back to the rafters and the timbers are checked. Then new breathable membrane, new treated battens, new tiles or slates, and new ridge, hip, verge and lead details go on. You can see it in our own photos: green membrane and battens on terraces, grey interlocking tiles loaded out ready to lay, and finished hip roofs with the scaffold still up.
Every new roof carries our 10 year guarantee. Eileen D. wrote that the guys were amazing, worked very hard and cleaned up after them. Jay wrote that the lads came to do his new roof and were fantastic, with great prices. Harun O. wrote that we completed the full job within two days, and Barham X. thanked the team for his amazing new roof.

Our method
How we build a new roof
- Scaffold up. Scaffold goes up round the house before anything comes off the roof.
- Strip-out. Old tiles or slates, battens and felt are stripped back to the rafters.
- Timbers checked. Rafters and timbers are checked and repaired where needed.
- Membrane and battens. New breathable membrane goes down, then new treated battens.
- Tiles or slates. The new covering is laid course by course, with lead at chimneys and walls.
- Ridge, hips and verges. Ridge, hip and verge details finish the roof, then everything is cleaned up.
