Clear gutters keep the water off your walls and out of your house.
It is important to keep all guttering clear, because it plays a vital part in protecting your home. A build-up of leaves and debris causes blockages and rainwater overflow, which leads to roof damage and a higher risk of damp and mould inside.
We clear guttering and downpipes and carry out any minor repairs so your rainwater system works the way it should. While we are up there we look at the roof as well, so slipped tiles, moss on the slope or a lifted flashing get spotted before they turn into a leak.
On the tree-lined roads round Heaton Park, Boggart Hole Clough and Alkrington Woods, gutters fill fast every autumn. Moss washed off concrete tiles is the other big cause of blocked gutters and downpipes across north Manchester and the Oldham districts.
